Be prepared!  We have no price sheet all quotes are custom prepared.  So we have lots of questions.  The easiest way to get a quote is to copy and paste these questions into an email answering each with as much detail as possible.  Our goal is to become part of you distribution solution; we don’t want to be just another vendor.

  2. How many SKU’s?
  3. What is the average carton weight?
  4. Average carton size?
  5. INBOUND
    1. In what unit of measure does the product come in?  By the piece, carton, pallet, drum, pail?
    2. How many units per piece? (cartons per pallet, pieces per carton, etc…)
    3. Will the products be palletized when they arrive at the warehouse?
    4. If so, will each pallet contain more than one SKU?
  6. STORAGE
    1. If palletized, what are the average pallet dimensions?
    2. Can the goods be stacked on top of each other?
    3. Average annual inventory turnover?
  7. OUTBOUND
    1. Who are your customers? (Retail Stores? Wholesale Distributors? Private Consumers? Business Consumers?)
    2. In what unit of measure does the product go out?  By the piece, carton, pallet, drum, pail?
    3. Carriers:  Please give approximate percentage by carrier type:

  1. TRANSPORTATION

Our trucking company, Carrano Transportation, offers regional Truckload and LTL services.  If you will be requiring transportation to/from your plant or specific customers, please provide city and state and approximate size of shipment (# of pallets per shipment).  Our fleet has the capability of delivering 26 pallets per load with a maximum weight of 45,000 lbs.  We will assume traffic will be moving to/from VJC Warehouse.
